About

LCA Talents Hub

LCA Talents Hub is Thailand’s network platform for life cycle assessment (LCA) professionals, developed by the Energy and Eco-Economics Management Research Unit (3E), Multidisciplinary Research Institute, Chiang Mai University, with support from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).

We connect experts, researchers, businesses and government agencies to share knowledge, build skills and move Thailand towards Net Zero.

What is LCA?

Life Cycle Assessment evaluates the environmental impacts of a product or service throughout its life cycle, from raw materials and production to transport, use and end-of-life. ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 provide its framework. LCA also informs product carbon footprints and environmental labels.

The six sectors we work across

• Agriculture & food
• Production & industry
• Consumption & use
• Waste & resource recovery
• Transportation & logistics
• Energy & resources
